O Centro de Mídia e Cultura Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau abrigará os equipamentos de vigília e salas de edição audiovisual como apoio aos esforços do Povo Jupaú em proteger seus 2 milhões de hectares de território. Construído com a doação de madeira apreendida de madeireiras ilegais, seu desenho é inspirado na oca tradicional Jupaú. O volume principal é estruturado pelo sistema de vigas recíprocas e coberto com taubilhas. As fachadas serão revestidas com painéis de palha trançada pelo Povo Jupaú.

Project 2022, developed for Forest City
The Media and Cultural Center will house recording and admin offices, as well as flexible spaces for housing guests and screening movies, to help the Jupaú (Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau) People in their efforts to protect their 2 million hectares territory. Built with donated wood that was confiscated from illegal lumber yards, its design is inspired in the Jupaú traditional house (oca). The main wood frame is organized by a system of reciprocal beams and covered by a hardwood shingle roof. The main facades are made of straw panels woven by the Jupaú themselves.
